As summer winds down, Kannapolis invites the community to gather for a blend of sun, sand, and sound. Tomorow, The ToneZ, a beach band known for their lively rhythms, is set to play at Veterans Park, promising to infuse energy into the final Thursdays on Main Concert of the year. According to the City of Kannapolis' announcement, the event, free to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. at 119 N. Main Street, nestled in the heart of downtown.
The evening offers more than just musical entertainment; it's a family-friendly affair, with children 18 and under required to have a parent or guardian in tow. Attendees looking to enjoy some nibbles can choose to purchase food and drinks on site or opt to bring their own, provided they keep their coolers alcohol-free. Those planning to quickly grab a spot should note that coolers will be subject to search as a part of their entrance, as stated on the City of Kannapolis' website.
While the musical act is sure to draw a crowd, the city is laying down some rules to maintain a comfortable atmosphere. Pets and smoking are to be left at home, ensuring a healthy environment for all concertgoers. As for seating, you're good to go to bring your own lawn chairs, making sure you can comfortably settle in for the evening's tunes.
The ToneZ, sourcing from a tradition of coastal melodies, aim to perfectly capture the essence of a beachside jam session, right in Veterans Park.
