The Kennedale Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred on Monday. The suspect is reported to have entered the store around 2:40 a.m., and implied possession of a weapon by notifying the cashier he had a gun and reaching for his waistband. This action successfully intimidated the clerk, after which the suspect was able to steal several items before fleeing in the direction of Interstate 20. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt that was partially covering his head, effectively making it difficult to fully identify the individual.
Police have provided a description of the suspect as an African American male, standing between 5'7" and 5'9" tall, weighing around 180 to 190 pounds, with a bald or shaved head. Additionally, he has tattoos on both his right and left arms, though the specifics of the designs are unknown.
