Two hikers found themselves in a precarious situation on a remote trail in Topanga State Park this Monday, prompting a rescue operation by the Los Angeles Fire Department. As per KTLA, the male duo was airlifted from the trail after they reported feeling unwell and unable to trek back to their original starting point near the Will Rogers State Historic Park.
The Los Angeles Fire Department swiftly responded to the emergency dispatch address at the 20800 block of Entrada Road after the distress call was received, and paramedics were quickly on the scene to provide the necessary assessments the men needed, as reported by KTLA.
Adding to the account of the incident, LAFD's alert notification revealed that the hikers, although requiring assistance to be extracted from their troublesome predicament, refused transport to a local hospital post-rescue. No further updates were made available.
