Traffic enforcement and safety measures were a focal point of the holiday weekend with the department emphasizing their commitment to DUI enforcement. During the holiday weekend, LHCPD initiated contact with 406 drivers during civil traffic stops and arrested 10 individuals for DUI-related offenses, striving to maintain safety for those celebrating and traveling.
