
Last night, authorities responded to an incident of violence in the northeast region of Las Vegas, marking another occurrence of gun-related crime in the area. According to News3LV, a ShotSpotter notification system alerted police to gunfire around 11:30 p.m. near the 3700 block of Geist Avenue.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man found unresponsive on the tarmac. Upon arrival, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police discovered the man, who was later pronounced dead by medical personnel, with injuries consistent with gunfire, as reported by FOX5 Vegas.
Las Vegas police Lt. Robert Price confirmed that homicide detectives are investigating the incident but did not provide further details as authorities work to determine the motives and identify the suspect involved.
