Earlier, the Lewisville PD had been engaged in a shooting investigation after a suspect was taken into custody and a victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening. The prompt action by law enforcement has been acknowledged by residents, ensuring a swift return to normalcy following the disturbance. "The suspect is in custody, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. There is no threat to the public," the Lewisville PD informed via Facebook.
