A man and a child were killed in a crash last Saturday early morning in Apache Junction. According to abc15, a car went off the road around 1:30 a.m. and hit a utility pole near South Goldfield Road and East Old West Highway.
The Apache Junction Police Department said the man believed to be driving was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but later died, as per 12 News.
The victims’ identities have not yet been released and the crash remains under investigation.
