A violent encounter in Pittsburgh's Strip District has led to the arrest of one Sebastian Rodriguez, aged 25. This incident, which transpired on August 31st inside a nightclub on Smallman Street, left another man critically injured after being struck in the head, according to WPXI. Following the attack, the unidentified victim was hospitalized and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the attack still come to light; however, Rodriguez was apprehended last Saturday, held at the Allegheny County Jail, Rodriguez has seen bail denied, with court records confirming the accused’s current incarceration.
According to WTAE, Rodriguez was charged with aggravated assault following the nightclub incident, transforming a space meant for entertainment into the site of a serious crime.
