Following a high school football game in Fairport Harbor, two 18-year-old students were subjected to an assault, prompting an investigation by local authorities. According to News 5 Cleveland, Fairport Harbor Police responded to a disturbance call near the 500 block of Third Street around 10 p.m. on Friday.
The incident occurred after the victims had left the Fairport Harding High School football game, leading to them being found injured on the sidewalk. Found to be 18 years of age, the students were then taken to TriPoint Medical Center, reported Cleveland19 News. The assailant, Nicholas Bosna, was arrested by the police.
Authorities have identified an extensive criminal history in Nicholas Bosna, who, at the time of the attack, also had outstanding felony warrants in Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas counties. He is now facing charges of assault and menacing, revealing a deeper trail of behavior that suggests a proclivity for disturbance, as per details provided by WKYC.
Bosna, currently held at the Lake County Jail, could face additional charges in the wake of the assault. Police made a point to mention, believing the attack to be an "isolated incident" and not reflective of any direct connection with the football game or the high school.
