A man is in critical condition after being shot in the Tower Grove East neighborhood. Officers were alerted to a shots fired incident at the BP gas station at 3100 S. Grand Blvd. shortly before 12:30 a.m. yesterday, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department website.
Officers responded to the scene but later learned the victim had been taken to a local hospital. The 39-year-old man had gunshot wounds and was unable to provide a statement due to the severity of his injuries. His condition was listed as critical and unstable.
