
Early Sunday morning, a man was critically injured and a woman was hurt in a drive-by shooting in San Antonio's west side, according to local authorities. Both KSAT and KENS5 report that the incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 7100 block of Shady Grove Drive. An unidentified vehicle reportedly opened fire on a residence, striking both individuals present.
The man sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman was grazed by a bullet near her neck and has been reported to be in stable condition by KSAT. SAPD has not released any suspect information, as of the last update, and the investigation, according to SAPD, is ongoing.
As of now, no one has been taken into custody concerning the shooting, and the shooter's identity remains a mystery. KENS5 notes that police were at the scene shortly after the shooting took place, where they found both victims.
