
In a tragic incident at a McDonald's drive-thru in East Hollywood, a man was shot dead and a woman was injured following an altercation in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to KTLA, the shooting took place around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and Romaine Street.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene, finding two victims with gunshot wounds. The 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at a local hospital, while the 35-year-old woman was hospitalized in stable condition, as per FOX LA.
CBS News Los Angeles reported that the LAPD said a "dispute" escalated when a suspect pulled out a handgun and fired at the victims. The suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting.
