A tragic crash in Lake County last night resulted in the death of a man and serious injuries to another. As reported by ClickOrlando, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a sedan, with two occupants, veered off the roadway before launching into the air and striking a tree.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. on County Road 439 near Live Oak Ranch Road. According to the FHP crash report, the driver, a 28-year-old Belleview man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 29-year-old Crestview man, who was riding as a passenger, was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, as mentioned by WESH.
