
Earlier today, a 39-year-old man became the victim of an armed robbery in Inwood, Manhattan, resulting in him being shot in the foot. According to ABC7 New York, the man was approached by three suspects around 4 a.m. on West 207th Street. Amid the altercation, he was stripped of his belongings - a necklace, a bracelet, and a wallet.
The situation escalated when one of the assailants pulled out a firearm and discharged a shot during the robbery, striking the victim in the left foot. The three suspects then fled the scene in a silver Honda Accord. According to witness descriptions, one suspect is approximately 6'4" and was wearing a black mask and blue jeans. The other two suspects are around 5'5" tall—one dressed entirely in black, and the other wearing a black hoodie with blue sweatpants, Patch reported.
Emergency medical technicians responded to the early morning incident and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was reported to be in stable condition despite his injuries. At the scene, a single shell casing was recovered, serving as key evidence in the ongoing police investigation.
The suspects remain at large, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation.
