Authorities have escalated their search for John Guy Tucker, 54, following his indictment on charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The suspect remains at large after a violent incident at a Mount Pleasant Street home on the evening of August 16, which resulted in the death of Angela Perry, 51, and critical injuries to a 67-year-old man, as reported by the City of Houston News.

Houston Police officers responded to the incident and found two victims inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds. The female victim, Perry, was pronounced dead at the scene. The male victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect, Tucker, is believed to be on the run, and his photo has been shared to help with his capture, as reported by the City of Houston.

The HPD Homicide Division's Sergeant J. Gardner and Detective M. Providence spearheaded the subsequent investigation. In consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Tucker's charges were filed on August 21.
