Mayor Jon Nehring hosted a “My Coffee Klatches” session yesterday at the Marysville Civic Center, giving residents an opportunity to meet with him and share concerns. The informal meeting included coffee, cookies, and conversation, according to a City of Marysville statement.
For those unable to attend in person, the event was streamed on Facebook Live through the City of Marysville’s page (@MarysvilleWashington). Mayor Nehring said the sessions offer another way for residents to access their local government.
City staff were present to answer questions from the public. Following the Coffee Klatches, the regular City Council meeting began at 7 p.m. The agenda is available on the city’s website.
