The Maui Police Department is appealing to the public for help in locating a missing woman, Lynnal Leon, 32 years old, who was last seen on August 30, in Kahului. In a social media post, authorities provided a description of Leon, noting her Marshallese ethnicity, a height of 5 feet 7 inches, and weighing about 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Her last known location was the parking lot of 100 Pakaula Street.
Leon, who is known to frequent the Wailuku area, was reported missing by an acquaintance, and there has been no reported communication with her since the aforementioned date. The Maui Police Department urged anyone, who might have information pertinent to Leon's disappearance to come forward. They did not disclose what she was last wearing, making it more challenging for witnesses to identify her.
Members of the public who have information regarding the whereabouts of Lynnal Leon are encouraged to call the Maui Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-244-6400. In the event of an emergency, or if there’s immediate information, they should dial 911 and mention the MPD report number 25-025877 to aid in the coordination of the information.
The police have yet to establish the circumstances surrounding Leon's sudden absence, and any piece of information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could be the key to finding her.
