
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking public assistance to locate three suspects involved in an assault at a Northeast bus stop. According to a police report, the attack occurred early Monday morning, September 8th, when a man waiting at a bus stop on the 700 block of 8th Street, Northeast was approached and assaulted by multiple individuals. The assailants then fled the area, leaving the victim in need of medical attention.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was later transported to a local hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS for treatment of his injuries sustained in the incident. The attack, captured by surveillance cameras, occurred at approximately 12:50 a.m. The Metropolitan Police have released photos of the suspects, urging anyone with information to come forward, with the promise of a reward.
D.C.'s law enforcement is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprits responsible for this violent crime.
