Motorists, according to CBS News Detroit, are currently doling out approximately $47 for a 15-gallon tank; this figure reflects around a $10 decrease from the peak prices witnessed in July 2024 and offers a sliver of relief amidst rising costs.
While gas prices in Ann Arbor, Metro Detroit, and Grand Rapids touch the higher spectrum, averaging between $3.18 and $3.23, cities like Traverse City, Marquette, and Jackson offer more budget-friendly options ranging from $2.94 to $3.09.
