According to a social media post by the department, the incident occurred yesterday at about 3:50 PM and resulted in minor injuries to a juvenile riding the e-bike. The juvenile was taken to receive medical evaluation following the crash.
Initial findings from the police suggest that the rider of the e-bike was traveling in the wrong direction in the bike lane, which may have been a contributing factor in the collision.
