Moore Square is set to become a hub for food enthusiasts and local art lovers with the introduction of the Raleigh Foodie Fare every Sunday. According to an announcement from the City of Raleigh Parks, this free, family-friendly event will feature over 20 food trucks serving up brunch and lunch, alongside 40+ local artists and vendors displaying their work.
The event is a collaboration between MAKRS Society and Raleigh Parks and is designed to showcase the rich culinary and creative spirit of the city. Visitors can look forward to live music in the park, craft coffee from Elevated Coffee, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks from Umbrella Dry Bar. For those interested in local brews, Brewery Bhavana will be providing beer options. Despite an excitement around the food and art, visitors are encouraged to bring along a picnic blanket to bask in the autumnal serenity of downtown Raleigh while enjoying their favorite foods.
The Raleigh Foodie Fare is scheduled to take place on select Sundays – Sept. 21, Oct. 19, and Nov. 16 – from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., making it the perfect daytime retreat for those looking to indulge in the area's local flavors and artistic endeavors. Admission to the event is free, ensuring that it is accessible to all who wish to explore the offerings.
