A Mooresville man, James Gabriel Jr., 62, faces multiple drug charges following a raid by the Mooresville Police Department’s Narcotics Unit on Thursday last week at a residence on Magnolia Street. Police seized 30.7 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, and $12,851 in cash.

According to the Mooresville Police Department's Facebook post, Gabriel was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Possession Schedule II, Felony Maintaining Dwelling, Maintaining/Sell/Deliver/Possess Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and Drug Paraphernalia.

He was given a $350,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges or arrests have not been ruled out.
