A fatal motorcycle crash occurred in Ridge Manor last Saturday evening on US-301, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
WTSP reported that the crash happened around 7 p.m. when a 42-year-old Webster man riding southbound on a Harley Davidson collided with a Kia Sorento driven by a 66-year-old Dade City resident turning left onto Whispering Oaks Boulevard.
WFLA News reported that the impact threw the motorcyclist from his bike, causing him to collide with a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 44-year-old Ridge Manor woman waiting to turn. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to FOX 13 News, neither the Kia nor the Jeep’s driver was injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
