
The Napa County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a homicide after a man was found dead on Monticello Road yesterday. According to a statement released on their official social media channels, the Sheriff's Office reported that the California Highway Patrol dispatch received a distressing call just before 9:40 AM, regarding a man covered in blood who appeared to be unresponsive.
Deputies arrived at the 2600 block of Monticello Road at 9:49 AM to find a 20-year-old male, later identified as Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez of Concord, deceased. With him having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The circumstances that led to Mr. Castillo-Hernandez's death are yet to be determined, and detectives of the Napa County Sheriff’s Office are meticulously conducting a homicide investigation to uncover the events that culminated in tragedy, as noted by the Napa County Sheriff's Office.
