
Neptune Beach residents are notified of a special meeting scheduled for September 15, at 6:00 p.m. The agenda includes the adoption of the FY25-26 Millage Rate and Budget. The meeting will be held at the Council Chambers, 116 First Street, and is open to the public.
Following the special meeting, two additional gatherings are scheduled for the evening. A Workshop Meeting of the City Council will take place at the same location, with the agenda available on the city’s website. The evening will conclude with a Town Hall Meeting, providing residents an opportunity to share their opinions and concerns.
The upcoming meetings will address financial decisions concerning local services and property taxes. Property owners and residents are invited to attend to stay informed and provide input if they choose.
Note that any person who intends to appeal any decision made by the Council should prepare to create a verbatim record of the proceedings for a successful appeal. This is an essential step as the record must comprise of the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal will be established.
Lastly, the city aims to ensure that these meetings are accessible to all.
