According to the NDOT, these closures are a segment of the 215 Pavement Preservation Project which aims to refurbish nearly four miles of roadway between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. The updates provided for the project outline a series of overnight ramp and lane closures set to unfold over the upcoming week.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, westbound traffic on the I-215 will be condensed near Windmill Lane, with the westbound off-ramp to Windmill Lane slated for closure. This interruption, as per the Nevada Department of Transportation, is expected to last until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22. Following that, from Monday evening through early Wednesday, the public should anticipate lane reductions at several nearby thoroughfares, including Hidden Well Rd, George Crockett Rd, and on north and southbound paths of Gilespie St.
Subsequent restrictions will take effect from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, till 6:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, with lane reductions on Hidden Well Rd between the Airport Connector and Las Vegas Blvd. Furthermore, the westbound 215 off-ramp to Warm Springs Rd. will be inaccessible during this period. The series of closures will continue the next night, Thursday, September 25, with additional lane reductions and the westbound 215 off-ramp to Las Vegas Blvd being closed through the early morning on Friday, September 26.
