On Monday evening, just before 7 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Carroll Street NW. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident left one man dead and is under investigation.
Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Devell Wade of Northwest D.C., who was found with stab wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS responded, but Wade was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department said the case is being investigated as a domestic incident.
