Novato Police are piecing together the details of a shooting at Third Street, following reports of gunfire last night, as officers continue their search for two suspects. A Nixle alert is urging the community to remain vigilant. According to police communication, the event unfolded in the 1000 block of Third St, where, fortunately, no additional risk to the community has been announced.
ABC7 News reports that two suspects described as tall and thin, with one clad in a white tank top and black pants, and the other wearing dark clothing, were seen fleeing the scene, their motives and destination unknown as this story unfolds. Witnesses and those with surveillance equipment are urged to review footage from 9:00 p.m. to 9:19 p.m., ABC7 News reports.
The shooting left one individual wounded, yet, expected to pull through after medical intervention, complicating matters, another person arrived at a local hospital bearing the marks of a stabbing.
