The New York Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in a violent robbery in Brooklyn. According to an alert from NYPD Crimestoppers, a 73-year-old woman was the victim of a brazen assault on Saturday morning. Officials report that the unidentified assailant forcibly stole the woman's cellphone after pushing her to the ground.
The incident took place at around 8:40 AM inside 1938 Rockaway Parkway. Once the victim was on the ground, the aggressor proceeded to kick her, causing pain throughout a body. In a subsequent act of intimidation, the perpetrator then brandished a firearm and pointed it at the victim while issuing a verbal threat. This account of events was detailed by the NYPD.
