Attorney General Gentner Drummond has escalated the manhunt for 20-year-old Justice Jauquin Jones, now placing him among the state's most sought-after fugitives following charges including rape, domestic assault, and robbery, according to a recent announcement on the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office official website. Jones, accused of a brutal attack on his victim amidst an attempted breakup, stands charged with a litany of offenses from the harrowing incident on July 17.
The reported assault, which left the victim with substantial injuries, included multiple accounts of rape and the allegation that Jones had photographed and videotaped the victim during the attack; moreover, Jones allegedly seized the victim's phone and illicitly transferred approximately $12,000 from her bank account into his own, the severity of these allegations underscores the urgency of the law enforcement's efforts to apprehend him. He was last seen driving a vehicle in the Sulpher area, and authorities caution that he should be considered armed and dangerous. The Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, along with the Durant Police Department and United States Marshal's Service, are determined in their collaborative pursuit to bring Jones to justice.
In light of these disturbing accusations, a reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of Justice Jauquin Jones. Those with relevant information are urged to reach out to the Attorney General’s tipline at 405-343-8107 or to send a tip via email at [email protected]. The initiative, a part of Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted program—initiated in September 2024—has seen success previously, with 13 fugitives charged with serious crimes including murder, rape, and drug trafficking having been apprehended since its inception, as per the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office.
