
A tragic early morning collision in north Charlotte claimed one life and left another person with serious injuries, as reported by local authorities. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. today, at the intersection of Reames Road and Metromont Industrial Boulevard, according to QC News.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash, as of now, details on what exactly precipitated the unfortunate event have not been disclosed. Causing traffic disruptions, the public has been urged to steer clear of the area to facilitate the investigation process. WCNC noted the proximity of the accident site to West W.T. Harris Boulevard.
In the wake of the collision, paramedics from the Mecklenburg EMS Agency pronounced one individual dead at the scene while the other victim was promptly transported to Atrium Carolinas Medical Center for treatment of their serious injuries. The identities of the individuals involved in the crash have not yet been made public.
Adding further details to the narrative, it was observed both pickup trucks involved sustained heavy damage. Found at the scene, one appeared to be a Ford F-150, while the other was a smaller Toyota truck, WBTV reported.
