A tragic incident in Chino, California, left one man dead following a late-night altercation, with two individuals subsequently arrested on murder charges. As reported by CBS Los Angeles, the Chino Police Department was summoned to a reported fight on the 13000 block of 9th Street at around 11:42 p.m. on Friday, where they found 21-year-old Angel Martinez with fatal stab wounds.
Despite being swiftly transported to a local hospital, efforts to save Martinez were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead. According to KTLA, the incident was preceded by a verbal dispute earlier in the evening, involving Martinez and one of the suspects, Joshua Rivera, an 18-year-old from Chino. In a social media post by the City of Chino Police Department, the department shared details of the arrests of the two suspects, stating that both individuals were later located in Chino, detained, and are now being held at the West Valley Detention Center on murder charges.
