An altercation over a disputed bar tab at Grumpy's Underground in Orlando escalated into a stabbing last weekend, which has led to the arrest of 30-year-old Jason Rosario. According to FOX 35 Orlando, the incident began with a verbal argument inside the bar and spiraled into a physical confrontation outside the establishment.

The violence reportedly broke out after friends of the victim questioned their drink charges, despite the issue being resolved by a manager. Subsequently, around 5:36 a.m. last Sunday, a woman with blood on her hands flagged down an officer after hearing the altercation and being brushed by a man who claimed someone had been stabbed. Walking by Grumpy's Underground, she discovered blood on her hands, which she believed came from the individual who had bumped into her, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando.

Bar owner Amanda Fields was shaken by the events, explaining to WESH that she had asked Rosario, who was not a full-fledged employee, to assist on a busy night due to her own indisposition. Fields described the initial confrontation inside the bar over the tab, followed by her instruction for all involved to leave, including Rosario, whose nickname "Saucy" was known among the staff.

In the aftermath of the scuffle, the victim, having suffered ten stab wounds to the face and back of the head, returned to the bar for help. Fields recounted her shock upon learning the situation had violently escalated behind her bar, stating, "I cooperated fully and I wanted him put in jail because it's just not okay," during an interview with FOX 35 Orlando. Fields lamented the incident, expressing her belief that she did all she could to prevent the confrontation from reaching such a critical point.

Rosario, who investigators later located, is now facing an attempted second-degree murder charge.
