Residents in Highway 61 North, Highway 61 South, and the surrounding areas can finally expect some relief after a prolonged water system outage caused by a damaged 36" main. The essential repair work has been completed, according to an update from the Paulding County Government's official website.
In a situation that many found inconvenient, residents were briefly left without a reliable water supply. The county has advised those at home to slightly turn on a faucet to help relieve pressure in the line as water pressure returns to their households. In the statement obtained from Paulding County Government's official site, homeowners have been guided through the process of easing their transition back to normal water usage.
"Pressure has to continue to build in each area in order for water to be restored," the county's statement explained.
