The collision occurred Wednesday morning around 8 a.m., according to ABC7NY. Witnesses reported that the man was in the crosswalk on Plainfield Avenue, the bus was turning left onto Plainfield from Magnolia Avenue, when the incident took place. The driver, a 69-year-old man, remained at the scene. At the time of the accident, there were no children on the bus.
