A man was struck and killed lastnight while crossing Missouri Route 364 in Saint Charles. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened shortly before 8:45 p.m. near Jungermann Road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
FOX 2 Now reported that the vehicle involved, a 2023 Kia K-5 driven by a 23-year-old woman from St. Ann, sustained damage and had to be towed. The driver suffered moderate injuries. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or why he was crossing the highway.
According to KSDK, Route 364 was closed for several hours between Jungermann and Harvester roads while crews responded.
First Alert 4 reported the eastbound lanes near Central School Road were also closed following the accident. The vehicle remained at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
