The City of Peoria, in partnership with VF Law, will host its semi-annual HOA Academy on November 15. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Development and Community Services Building’s “Point of View” Conference Room, as per the City of Peoria website.
This half-day training program is designed to provide homeowners and HOA board members with information on effective association governance. Topics include the roles of board members, application of federal laws affecting HOAs, bylaws, amending CC&Rs, and current legislative issues. Registration costs $15 per person and includes sessions and breakfast.
