
Phoenix will see a brief break from high temperatures early this week with a chance of showers and storms before heat returns. The National Weather Service reports a 20 percent chance of precipitation overnight with mostly cloudy skies and lows around 80 degrees.
On Monday, the chance of showers drops to 10 percent before 7 a.m., followed by sunny conditions with highs near 99 degrees. Clear skies and rising temperatures will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs reaching 103 and 105 degrees.
The extended forecast calls for sunny and dry conditions. Thursday’s high is expected near 105 degrees. Friday carries a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. but will remain mostly sunny with highs around 96 degrees.
Saturday is forecast to be sunny with highs near 93 degrees and a 10 percent chance of rain in the evening. Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with highs near 93 degrees.
