Early this morning, deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting that resulted in a 48-year-old male sustaining injuries and subsequently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital in stable condition. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department blog reported the victim was shot at 7:06am, and the suspect, a 20-year-old individual, fled to barricade himself in a nearby home along with several others.
