The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has released the latest figures from their recent overnight operation dubbed 'Wolf Pack,' aimed at clamping down on a variety of traffic offenses. According to a social media post by the office, the crackdown resulted in a comprehensive tally of arrests and citations throughout the area. Officers apprehended 22 individuals on DUI charges, while others faced felony and misdemeanor drug charges, alongside a handful of warrants and driving while license suspended or revoked (DWLSR) arrests. In total, law enforcement reported 37 criminal charges throughout the operation.

On the citation front, the numbers were significant as well: 20 for DWLSR, 6 for lack of insurance, and 72 speeding tickets. Each of these figures represents an attempt by local authorities to enforce laws that safeguard the public. Moreover, infractions such as seat belt violations, which stood at just 1, open container with 1 instance, and various non-moving and moving violations were also noted, with the latter racking up 135 tickets alone. Overall, the operation netted 339 citations, indicating a widespread issue with traffic law compliance in the area.
