The Federation conveyed, as reported by WPXI, that while the threats are deeply concerning, the safety of the community remains the paramount concern.
Authorities have started to actively investigate the matter, with the FBI and local police thoroughly involved. A Federation spokesperson disclosed that the letters seem to originate from the same individual, believed to be from outside the Pittsburgh area.
The security team of the Federation is vigilantly monitoring the situation to ensure that all Jewish institutions in the area are adequately protected, as per a statement obtained by CBS News.
