A routine traffic stop by a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office led to the re-arrest of a previously convicted DWI driver. The incident occurred on Saturday, when Jose Gonzalez Castillo was pulled over in the 17000 block of the North Freeway and was found to show multiple signs of intoxication, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
After carrying out a set of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, officers determined that Gonzalez Castillo was intoxicated. It was uncovered during the investigation that he had a prior conviction for Driving While Intoxicated. According to an announcement on the Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook page, "Jose Gonzalez Castillo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated -2nd Offense. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 4."
