The city’s Kiwanis Community Center is rolling out WARRIOR Strength™, a program designed to cater to fitness enthusiasts seeking a potent mix of cardiovascular and strength training. The center is testing the waters with two drop-in classes this October, potentially setting the stage for a regular monthly workout session.

Every session of WARRIOR Strength™ promises a 50-minute workout that combines high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with weightlifting to deliver an all-encompassing fitness experience. According to Raleigh's official Parks and Recreation page, “WARRIOR Strength has two sections that focus on HIIT and weight training, this format delivers playlists that rock, and engaging formulas for a total endorphin rush!" Attendees are expected to come equipped with water bottles, sweat towels, a mat, and comfortable workout gear while the essential gear for the workout will be supplied by the facility.

For those eager to experience the burn, the classes will take place at the Kiwanis Community Center located at 2525 Noble Road. Interested participants can mark their calendars for Fridays, on the dates of October 10 and October 17, with each session kicking off at 5:30 p.m. and wrapping up at 6:15 p.m. The classes are open to adults aged 18 and older, offering an accessible price tag at $8 per class, an initiative to encourage local community members to invest in their health without breaking the bank.
