A little over a week after a prior DWI arrest, Thomas Farris III was stopped on Sunday by a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office in the 19200 block of Poplar Trails Lane. Officials said he showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
An investigation at the traffic stop revealed that Farris was already out on bond for a previous DWI charge from September 18. Precinct 4 said he was booked into the Harris County Jail with his bond set at $5,000 out of County Court 10. Constable Mark Herman stated, "Thomas Farris III was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," as mentioned by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, repeated incidents show that prior arrests have not stopped some individuals from dangerous actions on the road. Precinct 4 urges residents to stay informed by following updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions through their social media and the “C4 NOW” mobile app.
