The announcement highlighted the tireless efforts of the canine's medical team: "We are happy to report that Apollo has been released from observation and is home."
Authorities thanked Carolina Veterinary Specialists, Catawba Animal Clinic, and Rock Hill Carolina Vet Specialists for providing immediate treatment and surgery for Apollo, a police K9 injured in a recent incident.
