
A clerk was stabbed multiple times during an attempted robbery just after midnight today at the Roadster Shell Station on U.S. Highway 90. Police said a man armed with a knife entered the store and motioned toward the cash register, according to FOX San Antonio.
KENS 5 reported that the suspect jumped over the counter, and when the clerk tried to avoid him, the clerk was stabbed in the back multiple times. The suspect then took several items before fleeing on foot.
The clerk was transported to University Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not released a description of the suspect. The San Antonio Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
