In a steady crackdown on local drug operations, Santa Rosa Police have made significant arrests following an investigation into a drug trafficking organization that has been active in the Santa Rosa and Sebastopol areas. A series of raids has uncovered a cache of drugs, firearms, and suspected stolen goods, according to a social media post from the Santa Rosa Police Department.
Highlighting the sweep, at a residence on Bock Street, Eyobell Solomon, 28, was detained and found in possession of an array of narcotics, including promethazine syrup and psilocybin mushrooms, alongside a staggering amount of $125,000 and suspected stolen items. Further digging by the detectives on Murphy Avenue in Sebastopol led to the detention of Aaron Bennis, 19, who was found with cocaine, ketamine, and $4,500 in cash. Both were arrested and are facing serious charges, including possession of narcotics for sale.
The operation then expanded to encompass several other individuals suspected of being linked to the drug ring. Over a span of days, detectives gathered evidence to support the involvement of 19-year-old Jayson Cohen, 22-year-old David Castillejos, 19-year-old Jose Mata, 18-year-old Asha Gorsak-Mayberry, 20-year-old Brenna Troedson-Campbell, and an unidentified Santa Rosa juvenile. They were arrested or complaints were filed against them for possession of narcotics for sale and conspiracy, confirming the collective effort in the trafficking operation.
