The City of Sarasota has named Ed Brower as September’s Employee of the Month. Brower, an Engineering Technician III in the Public Works Department, has worked for the city for six years and has helped improve the permitting process for residents. He was nominated for the recognition by a city resident.
According to a press release from the City of Sarasota, the resident praised Brower for his politeness, helpfulness, and knowledge in navigating the building permit process.
Brower’s colleagues describe him as a mentor and team player who shares his knowledge to support others’ professional development. The City of Sarasota’s statement expressed appreciation for his work and contributions to municipal operations and public service.
