Baltimore's Wilhelm Street has once again become a site of investigation after a second body was discovered in a matter of months. The latest incident occurred early Saturday morning when a fire broke out in a building believed to be vacant. According to WMAR-2 News, the body found has not yet been identified, further adding to the community's anxiety.

The early hours of Saturday reminded Gail, a resident who provided cellphone video of the incident, of the dangers she had worried over regarding the vacant property next door. "We called a couple of times about the vacant property next door, because we’re worried about fire, because that’s always what happens," Gail explained in an interview with Fox Baltimore. She also highlighted the neighborhood's drug problem, saying, "It’s a drug related. I mean it all goes back to drugs."

Despite what happened, official data from the Baltimore Police shows only one drug-related arrest in the past year. Homicide and arson detectives are now investigating to figure out what led to this disturbing event.
