In the city of Surprise, a new beacon for business development, Spark Surprise, has announced its launch, aiming to serve as a resource hub for entrepreneurs and business owners. As outlined in a City News post on their official website, this initiative is set up to provide comprehensive support, from navigating city resources to offering guidance for starting and growing a business. With a mission to foster success and growth, Spark Surprise is slated to become an integral part of the local business ecosystem.
The inaugural event for Spark Surprise, dubbed "Show Me the Money," is scheduled to take place at the West Valley Arts HQ Gallery on October 1, beginning at 8 a.m. With a panel of financial experts, the event promises to offer insights into obtaining working capital for small businesses. Scheduled to open the event, Mayor Kevin Sartor will be providing opening remarks, followed by a session for networking, the details of which were reported by City of Surprise's City News.
Representatives from the Arizona CDFI Network and The Idea Gardener will be among the featured experts, including Amber Cordoba and Tom Fulcher, respectively. Dr. Brian Sandusky from the City of Surprise is poised to guide the panel discussion, which will highlight various avenues available to businesses for funding. The event is free, and attendees will be treated to a complimentary breakfast on a first-come, first-served basis.
Given the limited space, the City of Surprise is currently welcoming RSVPs from those interested in attending "Show Me the Money." To reserve a spot at the event, participants can fill out a form provided by the Spark Surprise program which was shared on the platform City News in their latest release.
